Lachchedar Parathey Recipe |
Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour (aata) sieved
Ghee
2 cups refined flour (maida) sieved
Salt to taste
Mustard oil
Preparation:
- Mix both flours. Add 4 tbsps warm ghee and salt.
- Knead very well till the dough is very pliable.
- Make lemon size balls.
- Turn each ball into a long roll 1 cm thick and shape this roll so that a coiled circle is obtained.
- Apply ghee inside as you coil the roll.
- Roll out each coiled circle into a 12 cms.
- disc and fry on a hot griddle, applying ghee on both sides.
- Serve hot with any vegetable or meat curry.
